Summer Rock Band
Rock Band is an amazing experience for young musicians to unlock their creative potential, acquire rehearsal skills, and learn cooperation and teamwork. Band members rehearse weekly and perform songs with fellow students at local events like Taste of Oviedo and Songbirds recitals. Rock Band students learn how to create a set list, how to handle gear, how to play with other musicians, and how to command the stage. Most importantly, Rock Band classes prepare students for a lifetime of professional gigging and musical enjoyment! Songbirds is proud to offer three Rock Band groups of varying ages, so every student has a perfect group. Joining Rock Band is the best way to boost your musical ability and take your performance to the next level!
*Students are required to be currently enrolled in private lessons and have at least one year’s experience on their instrument. (Private lessons are not required to be at Songbirds)

He maintains an impressive and active performance career in the Orlando area, plus he is a multi-instrumentalist with an amazing passion for teaching. Ukulele Class
Unleash your musical talent in our new group ukulele class with Ms. Kerry! Perfect for 1st graders and up, including adults. Sign up now and discover the joy of playing the ukulele! No prior experience is needed, and there will be a small performance during the last class.
To ensure the best learning experience, participants are required to bring their own ukulele. We kindly request that you bring a legitimate ukulele, as toy versions may hinder progress. Ukuleles are available for sale at Songbirds!
Group Ukulele Class meets Fridays, July 7th through 28th.

Kerry Hayes is an incredibly qualified instructor for our Group Ukulele Class. She is an impressive multi-instrumentalist with an amazing skill set for teaching, writing, and analyzing music. Kerry has published a full-length album that features her ukulele abilities! Kerry works wonderfully with group instruction and is excited to launch the Group Ukulele Class!
